As part of its endeavor to offer comprehensive economic and social databases that accurately portray the economic performance in Abu Dhabi, the Statistics Centre – Abu Dhabi (SCAD) conducts a series of surveys. One of these surveys is the Industrial Performance Index Opinion Poll, which aims to identify the industrial establishments operating in Abu Dhabi during the previous year. It assesses the present state and future prospects of the economy.
